Katherine is one of the wittiest and most engaging person I have ever met, and those qualities are only amplified in her performing. She has a powerful voice that is perfectly complemented by her commanding presence on the stage.

Katherine is currently the Mezzo Soprano Artist In Residence with Indianapolis Opera for the 2019-2020 season.
Katherine spent the 2015 - 2016 Season as a Studio Artist with The Florentine Opera Company in Milwaukee, WI and the 2018 - 2019 Season as the Resident Mezzo Soprano with Toledo Opera.
During her graduate studies at The University of Maryland's Opera Studio, she studied with both Delores Ziegler and Linda Mabbs. Katherine earned her undergraduate degree at Carnegie Mellon University where she studied with Ms. Mildred Miller Posvar.
Katherine spent the past few summers engaged as a young artist with The Pittsburgh Opera Theater Summerfest Program, Opera South East and the Utah Summer Opera Festival.
She is currently based in Washington, DC where she has appeared with The In Series Opera Company and returned to The Maryland Opera Studio on several guest alumni contracts.
Katherine has worked with acclaimed directors, coaches, and conductors such as Justina Lee, Elizabeth Bachman, Anthony Laciura, Tim Nelson, Craig Kier, Nick Olcott, and Dr. Robert Page.
